The patented, "non-polymer" leak-stop agent seals "seasonal" leaks (up to 300 microns). If the leak is too large, the UV dye helps to locate the leaking area.

R22 refrigerant, also known as HCFC-22, is the most common refrigerant used in residential and commercial air conditioning, as well as in some very large centrifugal chillers for industrial refrigeration processes. It has become increasingly used in refrigeration since CFCs were phased out - both as a standalone refrigerant and in blends. R-22 is no longer permitted in new equipment, but available products can continue to be used for servicing existing systems.
